The Way[fm] Radio Network's purpose is to share the message of Christ's love, grace and mercy, and demonstrate the hope of Jesus; To be the mouth for the body, promoting Christian endeavors locally and regionally; To be a device for uniting the body of Christ, to soften and prepare hearts to receive His message of love and freedom.

The Way[fm] is committed to bringing quality, family-friendly, positively-encouraging contemporary (today's) Christian music into the lives of its listeners. Our main Christian music charts are CHR (Christian Hits Radio) and CAC (Christian Adult Contemporary) and some Christian ROCK chart music as well. 

At the moment, The Way is heard only on 92.3 fm, in Louisa. With planned future growth both north and south as God opens the doors and ministry partners grow. We currently reach 11 counties a population of over 300,000 people. Of which more than 10% are our listeners. That's 41,000 listeners in our region WITH 17,000 of those coming from Lawrence Co, KY and Wayne Co, WV!! God bless our awesome listeners, who do more than listen! They respond! 

Contemporary Christian music is also a great ministry tool! Did you know that 40% of the listeners to CONTEMPORARY (Today's) Christian music DO NT have a relationship with Christ? When you support The Way, you are doing the work of ministry in your LOCAL area!

One question we are asked is, "why not standard GOSPEL music?" While I am a fan of Southern and Bluegrass GOSPEL there are many programs and stations in our area to get to experience great GOSPEL music. Like our sister station in Huntington, WV (learn more about them HERE). When we went through the prayer process to identify God's will and plan for this station; we determined that we were being led to add to, not duplicate, the regions radio ministry endeavors. Thus our desire to reach out in NEW and ENCOURAGING routes, not in an attempt to place one style of God's music ministry over another, but in a heartfelt desire to open our region up to new God-led, God-inspired music AND contemporary messages.

The Way[fm] is a radio ministry of IGNITE Ministries, Inc. and is operated by IGNITE Media, llc. IGNITE Media operates The Way under an LMA with Louisa Communications Inc. IGNITE was created for the sole purpose of operating The Way Radio Network of radio stations and is locally owned and operated, by local people, for the communities in which they themselves live. NOT some boardroom in LA, Chicago, or Manhattan.

IGNITE Media's purpose is to uphold and full fill the purpose of The Way set forth by its originating body, IGNITE Ministries.

IGNITE Ministries, Inc...

IGNITE Ministries is the reason for it all! Well, God is the reason...but 10yrs ago God called a group of half, faith-crazed, Christians to start praying for a Christian radio station. AND they weren't alone! Over the years since The Way (formerly the Highway) began; we have been contacted by numerous people about their prayers for a Contemporary Christian station in the area too! 

IGNITE Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt religious organization under KY law. It is a NON-Denominational ministry who's current primary focus is on "The Way" radio ministry. Some of IGNITE's other "outside-the-(CHURCH)box" ministry objectives are: a Christian Assisted living / Childcare facility (Called The GatheringPlace, Louisa), a Christian Coffee shoppe, and so much more.
